Our Office

Office Policies 

Our medical staff, receptionist and personnel operate as a team. We take great pride in our training, knowledge, and capabilities, and we want you to know that we are dedicated to providing you with quality care. The best healthcare is based on a friendly, mutual understanding amongst the staff, physician, and the patient. If any questions or problems arise, please do not hesitate to bring them to our attention. 

New Patients

New Patients are seen in our office by Physician Referral Only. 

Initial Office Visit

Please bring along to your first office appointment your insurance card and a Photo ID (Driver's License, Student ID card). 

Office Hours

Our office is opened from 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Monday to Friday. Closed evenings and weekends. Our practice requires 24 hour notice for appointment cancellation to avoid a Cancellation/No Show charge to your account. 

A physician is on call after hours for emergencies and can be reached by calling our office telephone number 717-544-3517. 

Medication Refills

Please contact our office during normal business hours to request medication refills. Medication refill request received after hours will not be addressed until the next business day unless our provider feels your situation to be urgent. Please contact our office at least three business days in advance for medication refills. This allows our staff to make sure your medication schedule is not interrupted due to insurance pre-certification requirements, etc. 

Office Co-Payments

All co-payments are due at the time of service and will be collected upon check-in to our office. Our office accepts cash, check, Visa or Mastercard. 

Insurance

Our practice participates with many insurance carriers. 

Our office will file a claim with your insurance carrier for services provided. It is the patient's responsibility to notify our office staff of any insurance changes. 

If we do not participate with your insurance carrier, payment will be collected at the time of your visit. Our office will provide a courtesy billing to your insurance carrier. 

Referrals

Some insurance plans requires referrals to be seen by a Specialists. If you carry one of these plans it is the patient's responsibility to obtain this insurance referral from your Primary Care Provider. If you do not have the required referral at the time of your scheduled office visit, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment. 

Telephone Calls

Our telephones are answered from 8:00 A.M. to 4:45 P.M. Our office staff have been instructed to handle all incoming calls as this allows the doctors to attend to patients in the office with a minimum of interruptions.
